Programming languages

hi, i have been trying on some programming languages lately, so far i have tried c++ (something went wrong with microsoft visual c++ 2008 express….so i had to use dev c++, which is not quite as good), visual basic, which was very simple, but still pretty fun, c#, kinda like visual basic, and i think i am going to try java, but since it is not microsoft express i need to ask my dad first, and GML, which comes in gamemaker. They all are pretty fun, but i cannot decide which one i should use. i have heard that javascript and java were pretty good……. Any sugestions?
